Shaun Flynn
Based in Baltimore, Shaun Flynn has been an active member of the city's art and music community for the past 11 years. Primarily a percussionist, his first Baltimore band Cutter/Hammer once played for 60 hours straight in Times Square. Later forming Wzt Hearts, he played both drummer and vocalist, touring the country and releasing 2 full lengths with Hoss and Carpark Records. Currently, Shaun is working on his first solo record as Vows.
He is a resident of the Floristree, a warehouse space in Baltimore that for the past 4 years has proudly functioned as the premier underground venue for the city, hosting festivals like Whartscape, a biweekly restaurant called Weedsnake, and countless amazing shows. As an artist, Shaun is perhaps most widely known for his poster art, doing headache inducing drawings for bands such as Animal Collective, Lungfish, and OOIOO. Shaun also makes sculptures, murals, installations, and conceptual projects. Someday, Shaun hopes to regain his sense of smell and acquire health insurance. Shaun loves Baltimore, his beautiful Yarnacat, and values love and friendship above all else.
