Nancy Whang
Nancy Whang (pronounced WONG!) is a woman of substance. Like Jesus, she is well versed in carpentry. Unlike Jesus, she isn't black. He was black, right? Either way, she's Korean and I think we can all agree that Jesus was definitely not Korean. Though best known for award-winning deviled eggs, a burgeoning DJ career, and musical turns in LCD Soundsystem and The Juan Maclean, it is Nancy's passionate love for short sleeves and neck holes that engendered this union with the Musician as Designer series. This is her first foray into professional t-shirt designing, but she has been designing t-shirts off-broadway and for T-Shirts in the Park for many years. She is excited to be a part of this project and hopes you wear her shirt all the time. (Well, not all the time. That would be gross.)
